Alfasigma may award educational grants to accredited education providers and/or independent third-party healthcare education companies that develop and administer programs designed to meet the education needs of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses, research scientists, and others working in the fields of hepatology and/or gastroenterology.
Grant recipients are responsible for the content, quality, scientific integrity, and adherence to ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of all activities they certify for accreditation.
Continuing medical education (CME) areas of interest:
CME proposals focused on cholestatic pruritus associated with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) will be systematically evaluated based on their ability to address key educational priorities. Submissions should demonstrate clear alignment with at least 1 of the following areas of interest:
- Disease awareness and burden
- Importance of routine monitoring and clinical discussion
- Available and emerging treatment options
Collectively, proposals should demonstrate a commitment to advancing clinician knowledge, improving patient-provider communication, and optimizing the management of cholestatic pruritus in PBC.
